Yes, the Hummingbird babies are here, along with the "mom's & dad's of course. Draining the feeders dry daily now and sometimes twice a day. We were filling the feeders this afternoon and looked out to find 6 of our deer herd back including our "little man". Went to feed them and realized that one of the "mom's" had brought her new baby for us to see!! She was just a tiny thing, no more than 18" tall.
So, all the babies are here for your enjoyment along with cooler temperatures than in the valley!!
On the personal side, Paige graduated here at Sugar Tree with family & friends from 12 (long) years of homeschooling. She will continue classes at Blue Ridge Community College this coming school year before transferring to Liberty next year. So, you will be able to enjoy her company one more year with us.
Erin & Nick are expecting our 1st grandchild in August! Riley Matthew!! Jeff is anxiously awaiting the day and Becky is just plain ecstatic!!
